How the plan works:
USANA are dedicated to helping you achieve your own personal success. In fact, it is your success that will help to ensure the success of USANA. For this reason, we have invested considerable time and money to develop a compensation plan that gives every Distributor the best opportunity for network marketing success - a plan that establishes a departure from the traditional MLM requirements of heavy sponsoring and large group volumes which are typically necessary for financial success.The USANA Cellular Compensation Plan is designed without levels, which means to you, that financial success can be achieved by sponsoring as few as two Distributors to start building your downline organization and developing a strong base of customers.
There is greater depth from which you can earn commissions. There are no group volume requirements to receive commissions. Commissions are paid weekly. Your upline has an incentive to work with you to help you build your downline. Distributor success is more widespread and evenly distributed, the plan is fair to everyone involved.
Retail SalesAs a USANA Independent Distributor, you purchase USANA products at the wholesale cost. When you sell these products to your customers at the retail price, you earn an immediate retail profit. The difference between what you pay for the product and the price at which you sell the product is your retail product.
The importance of selling cannot be overemphasised. (either retail sales or Preferred Customers) It is the surest method you and your new distributors have for developing immediate income for your business while you build a long-term base of satisfied customers. In fact, many of your best Distributors will likely come from the ranks of your retail customers!
Wholesale Commissions
Commissions are paid on whole increments of the balanced group sales volume accumulated in your left-side and right-side organizations (see chart). Unlike other compensation plans, extra volume of up to 5,000 points on each side is carried forward.
As you develop an organization of USANA Distributors and Preferred Customers, you become eligible to earn commissions and bonuses. When you and the other Distributors in your organization generate sales volume through downline and Preferred Customer sales, you can receive commissions from your Group Sales Volume. It is through the USANA Cellular Compensation Plan that you can begin to create long-term financial success!
Leadership Bonuses
For Distributors who demonstrate leadership abilities by building large and successful organizations. USANA also offers a very exciting Leadership Bonus Programme! Each week, 3% of the total Company Group Sales Volume is divided among qualifying Gold Directors and Above.
First after you complete your distributor application agreement, your sponsor places you in an open position within their organization. These locations are called Business Centers. Each Business Center has a left and right side in which sales volume accumulates.
You activate one Business Centre by purchasing product of 150 Sales Volume Points of wholesale purchases (see building a business). This volume may be made in a single order or it may be accumulated over 30 days.
Next, either you or someone in your upline sponsors a distributor on the left side or the right side of your Business Centre. Although each distributor is responsible for building both sides of their business the unique team aspect of USANA allows someone up-line from you to place someone in your organization... a definite plus for you! As you and others on your team sponsor more people, you continue to fill available slots downline, this way you build sales volumes for both yourself and your downline.
As sales begin to accumulate on each of the two sides of your Business, you are paid commission on the total Group Sales Volume of your business.
Every Friday the USANA computer calculates the accumulated Group Sales Volume on the right and left side of each Business Centre and pays commissions as follows:

The commission earned is 10% this chart shows commissions in US Dollars, this amount will be converted each week to pounds (or currency of your country) at a rate of £60.8. You are paid on the lower of the two legs each week while the balance of unpaid volume (up to 5,000) is carried over.
For example, if during a single week your left side generated 2,000 Sales Volume Points in group sales and your right side generated 3,000 Sales Volume Points you would receive a commission check for £243.20 ($400 US) and you would start the next week with 1,000 points of unpaid volume carried over on your right side.
In addition, the first three times an income center generates 5,000 Sales Volume Points on both the left and right side during a single week, you will receive a Placement Certificate which allows you to enter your own downline to start an additional Business Center and earn additional income from that Business Centre. After you have placed that new Business Centre in your organization to earn commission from additional Business Centres, your Personal Sales Volume requirement increases from 100 Sales Volume Points to 200 Sales Volume Points during each four week rolling period. No matter how many Business Centres you earn commission from (unlimited potential) your Personal Sales Volume never exceeds 200 Sales Volume Points.
Depending on what size USANA business you want to build, you can enter USANA with either one Business Center or a maximum of three Business Centers. The income you receive from USANA will be in direct proportion to your ability to build an organization of retail and Preferred Customers and Distributors, who, like you, are successful in building their own organizations.With one Income Center, you sponsor two people (or more if you wish) and help them develop their organizations to the point that each of the two sides of your business are generating 5,000 Sales Volume per week. Your commission check for the week would be £608.00 ($1,000) or 10% before leadership bonuses.
With three Income Centers, you sponsor four people (or more if you wish) and help them develop their organizations to the point that each of the four legs of your business are generating 5,000 points per week in volume. Your commission check for the week would be £1,824.00 ($3,000) or 15% before leadership bonuses.One Income Centre example with 2,000 points of volume on each side... you would receive commissions of £243.20 ($400).
Three Income Centre example with 1,000 points of volume on each side of Business Centres 2 and 3 you would receive £486.40 ($800) commission. The same amount of sales volume, spread across your businesses.
Add the ability of re-entering your downline, to the three business center concept... and the potential is mind-boggling!
Three percent (3%) of the total Company Sales Volume will be placed in a Leadership Bonus fund that is paid each week. The Fund is divided among Gold Distributors and above who meet each of the following criteria:
A Distributor will be paid a Leadership Bonus based on how many Business Centres he or she has maximized during the week. By maximizing additional Business Centres, the Distributor will move to higher ranks, which means more income from the Leadership Bonus Programme.
- Be an Active Distributor with 200 points in Personal Sales Volume during the current four-week period.
- Maximize at lease one Business Centre (5,000 SVP on each side of your business centre)
- Sponsor and activate a new Distributor with a minimum of one Business Centre for the current four-week period.
- Not participate as a sales representative in any other network marketing programme that competes with USANA.
- Present or host at least one Distributor meeting a month in any ten months of the calendar year.
- Actively train and supervise your downline sales organization.
